Cabin: Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

NCL doesn’t disclose that more than half of the specialty dining venues are closed. Also only bars mid-ship around the pool are open. Various gelato, coffee bars, and snack areas are closed. Shore excursions are less than what is on the website. If you want the entertainment and variety of food venues, this is NOT the cruise for you. Clientele was 80% over 60 and clearly there for the buffet. NO sanitizer staff anywhere. Few dispensers scattered around bar/restaurants/theater entrances. But nothing on the landings where there were elevators and high touch points. Some bathrooms were abandoned and very dirty.

Shore excursions are very pricey. Skip the bus trip to the canyon. A miserable 5 hours and about 45 minutes at the canyon. The rest in a 50 person bus listening to a fuzzy PA system that was loud and a driver that was incoherent. A waste of 1/2 day and about $350.

Am a Gold level member with NCL so I speak with some knowledge that they did a really poor job with this Hawaii cruise and I would recommend using a different cruise line for this location.

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Owners Suite was really well maintained and stocked with fresh fruit. Our suite’s staff were exemplary. The second day we had to evacuate the suite due to lacquer fumes blowing through our ceiling vents. Noxious fumes were sickening. I thought this was a stupid maintenance knowing that cabin occupants could get ill. Seemed like the staff did a lot of apologizing for various mess-ups…. Missing room service orders, for example. I wouldn’t pay $14k for their so-called high end suites and services ever again.
