I have been on three cruises from January to April 2022, all Royal Caribbean. Navigator of the Seas is a huge disappointment. The food was consistently overcooked to the point most of it was the same color brown or beige. The food had no flavor in all of the complimentary restaurants, it was shockingly bad especially compared to other Royal Caribbean ships. Room service was timely and breakfast was good, everything else matched the complimentary as being mostly uneatable. Royal Caribbean should really take a closer look at the chefs running the kitchens and revamp their current process. Royal Caribbean prides itself on service and its team not asking for tips, so it was so shocking from the baggage dropoff to the tip envelope that i didn't ask my stateroom attendant left on my bed in my last night that i was asked for tips. Again, Royal Caribbean should take a closer look at this ship and its crew. I sailed in rough seas during a storm on Anthem of the Seas and never lost internet, this ship had the worst internet and it was less than 500 miles away from the coast of Mexico and California. Royal Caribbean should refund all the cruisers like me that paid for premium internet their voom surf and stream package, I could not use it most of my cruise a complete waste of money. The rooms are really dated furnishings, the balcony was a good size and enjoyed sitting out there with some coffee or wine. The gym looked like it was a new buildout and was fantastic. My advice is to avoid this older ship as it is not worth it, go for the newer ships that have more to offer and hopefully have better food.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin was a great size but dated no outlets next to bed for charging phones or tablets

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Due to rough water, Catalina Island was skipped. I didn't even know this was something that could happen and apparently has been happening frequently for this cruise/ship based on the captains announcement.

Ensenada

This was the best part of the cruise! The cooking class and tequila tasting were AMAZING!
