Sail Date: Apr 2022
Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

This was the worst cruise EVER. The only good thing was we had an awesome Cabin Steward.

We waited on line 4 hours to get on board the ship. Norwegian did not accept our negative Covid test results even though I called NCL to make sure the date would be acceptable for a Sunday departure. We had to pay an additional $150 and get tested there at the pier. We paid an additional $40 for a pending Bermuda authorization only to talk to people whose Covid test were done a day before ours and pending Bermuda authorizations still pending and they were accepted and allowed onboard. The ship was supposed to leave 4 PM but it did not leave until midnight. NCL canceled the Virginia stop. We were supposed to leave Bermuda 5 pm and we left 4:30 pm.

2.) We were told NCL would be 70% capacity at most. The ship was at 100% capacIty & understaffed. Shore excursions, shows & specialty restaurants were sold out / booked by 4/18/22. After waiting in line for a show for 45 minutes, the ushers let 18 people in front of us and those people got to see the show because the line was cut off just in front of us. To see anything comedy, trivia, games, karaoke etc, we had to wait online for almost an hour AND no seats left.
