We chose this cruise because it departed from Boston near our home, so no need for airline travel. Also, it was during school vacation week so we could take our kids and grandkids with us. There were 10 of us with all cabins close to one another.

The boarding process was difficult because the lines were horrendous and we had one person who uses a walker. We later learned that there was a medical emergency and all boarding had been stopped for quite a while. We did get our cabins almost immediately after boarding and we were happy with the accommodations in our club suites. We had a terrific room steward and the level of service seemed excellent at the beginning of the cruise.

We did have some things that made us concerned about the experience, not the least of which was the fact that above the fine accommodations there was a young peoples only club and several nights we were awakened from a sound sleep because teenagers were allowed to be there until 1 AM . No adults were allowed! Shouldn’t this have been located over a gym, a bar, or somewhere else where people might not be awakened from the noise?

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Very nice. Appreciated the free bottle of wine and snacks.
