Sail Date: Apr 2022

This was our first cruise -post Covid and our first on Carnival in 25 years. We chose it because Port Canaveral is only 20 miles from our home and because we had yet to visit the Turks and Caicos on a previous cruise.

After sailing numerous times on Holland America and Royal Caribbean our expectations were low after reading previous reviews of Carnival Freedom.

We booked an Ocean suite (7233) which is forward and well away from the elevators and atrium. Since we don't tend to stay up late and party all night we wanted a quite part of the ship. Noise was never a problem.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room and storage. Bathroom had two sinks and a decent size shower. Balcony had two chair ,a table and a lounger. Cabin stewards only service the rooms once a day but are available anytime if you need anything. Very small television with limited channels.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Typical Caribbean cruise port with the typical shops and a JImmy Buffets Margaritaville.
