We were "snow. birds" returning to Seattle from S. California and chose cruising as an alternative to driving from Palm Springs to Seattle. The costs were comparable to driving and sightseeing for six days. But the plane is less expensive.

We had a perfect port call on Catalina Island and rented a golf cart there for touring.

We had two port days in San Francisco and toured Alcatraz - a visit like no other - the presentation was curated by the National Park Service and was very educational. There was a free tram for folks unable to walk up the hills.

Cabin Review

The interior cabin had a small shower which necessitated tucking the shower curtain behind the hose and then carefully and quickly aiming the shower head away from the shower curtain. BUT BETTER - there is a free shower, towels, and a changing room in the Vitality Spa on the 11th floor Forward.

The interior cabin amenities on Radiance consisted of one small bar of soap and a wall mounted hand (not face) lotion. In the shower there was a wall mounted dispenser which served as soap, shampoo, and conditioner - in one product. So, bring you own products if you want better lotions.

There were no outlets near the head of the bed - just on the desk area.

The bed was comfortable.
