Cabin: Ocean View Balcony

This was our first cruise on a Voyage class ship, though our 11th on a RCL ship. We enjoyed the cruise a lot, it felt so short just because we're used to 7-day cruises. It was weird because the ship was only 60-70% at capacity, so it felt very empty.

The environs:

The promenade was good. It was still pretty loud with the opening to the casino below, and the pub and other bars pretty open to it. But not terrible noise. There were times that the pub singer couldn't do his thing because they're doing a party in the promenade. The tiki bar was cool, and was great to visit each bar and experience their little special touches.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

It was my first balcony cabin, it was wonderful! I loved facing the back and having the ship wake noise. Our balcony was small, but it faced the side and back giving incredible views (you could even lean out and see across to the other side of the ship). It has a swinging door instead of a sliding door, and I wish that the A/C would shut off if you prop to door open, like it does with the sliding doors. The huge round window was awesome to sit in.

The bed was comfortable, it was okay to get around it to get to the outside (would have loved another 6-12"). I liked that there was a couch but no coffee table to run into in the middle of the night.

Great storage everywhere.
