New York (Manhattan)

Just off QM2 from New York to Southampton 8th May 

Positive aspects

Cabin clean and steward always professional

All Crew great , couldn't do enough 

Entertainment good to great most nights

Cunard insights good always something for everyone

Average

King's court compared to last crossing  done 5 years ago noticeable downgrade in choice , Service good ,Celebrity has surpassed Cunard ( done a cruise in January 2023 to Caribbean and had taken photos on 1st crossing , difference is plain to see)

WiFi average to poor in certain areas of the ship

Ship itself getting tired needs a refub ,Staff do there best with what they are , ship clean and felt safe re covid

Embarkation  in NYC 2hrs from start to finish ,long queues,not enough staff , Cunard need to see how Celebrity manage to do this in 20mins same standard and the excuse of a cycling event in NYC it not like this was not planned 

Summary QM2 needs  upgrade , if given the choice I would choice Celebrity over Cunard for my next cruise/crossing
