Walter Princess Cruise Survey:
The cruise was overbooked with too many passengers and not enough crew. There was utter chaos when people had to stand in long lines to get food for lunch and were bunched up close together. There was no social distancing in the long lines. There is too much Covid on these ships among the staff (even entertainers and engineering crew). How is it being brought onto the ship if ALL the passengers must show full vaccination and recent negative Covid testing. Maybe Princess is cutting corners. We left the cruise on Saturday morning and by Sunday morning we both tested positive for Covid. Of course, we picked it up on the cruise. We were told that at the end of our cruise, Princess would no longer Covid-test the "turn around passengers" for Covid (in order to isolate those who were to remain on the ship for the next cruise if they tested positive). This is horrible. How many "back-to-back cruise passengers had Covid on this cruise that was not detected because of this new policy? Horrible.
Our steward Renante was a good stateroom steward and what we expect in a steward.
Our steward was diligent and took good care of us. We were satisfied with the stateroom and the services. It was one of the more positive "services" we experienced on the cruise. The stateroom stewards always seem to do a good job.
Thought the ship was safe from Covid, but it wasn't due to overcrowding and disorganization.
Enjoyed a sunny warm day.
