We had TWO very smooth crossings of the Drake Passage. The scenery is impossible to describe -- you have to see it yourself. We had two Special Operations Boats that you boarded within the ship for additional excursions. The lectures were very professional and informative, The Aula is a magnificent lecture hall. All the naturalist were very friendly and willing to share their expertise. There are staff to help with all the "wet" landings, and trails are appropriately marked to make sure the wildlife and travelers are safe. The staterooms are designed to permit the top of the window to be lowered to allow full immersion into the environment. Viking does everything to make the trip exceptional. This trip is for the "thinking person". Any adventurous and curious traveler will thoroughly enjoy the experience. Of course all the normal high expectations you have of a Viking cruise and ship are met. This was our 7th and final continent, and we were pleased that Viking made the trip outstanding.

Cabin Review

Cabin was great. Being able to lower the upper portion of the 8 ft window was special. The "drying" closet was a nice feature.
