Our cruise was amazing. I call it a trip to an alien ice planet, as the landscape was unlike anywhere else I’ve been with strange and abundant animals.

I think this was the third cruise of the Octantis. For the most part things went very smoothly. We were out on the zodiacs many times with a variety of landing sites. We hit my bucket list of going below the Antarctica circle. We saw a lot of animals.

The food was fabulous. Staff was attentive and fun. Nice spa facilities. Overall very luxurious. Much better than Shackleton had. Read more
