I don't know the words that would be strong enough, to express how dissatisfied and upset we are with this cruise line.

The title of this review ("Don't walk, RUN away from Cunard") is not an exaggeration. We have been on many different lines, and were so looking forward to cruising with Cunard. Yet despite the hype around how Cunard is excellent It was our worst experience cruising in over 4 decades.

Embarkation was chaos. Long ques, disorganization, duplication of questions ( despite filling everything out online and having copies) confusion, frustration and misinformation being provided all over the terminal, outside the terminal, in the que's and by very confused Cunard staff. The Covid testing station/tent was equally confusing and didn't seem to follow any process - guests and staff were running back and forth across a busy road going to and from the tent, to the terminal, to the baggage drop off, it was ridiculous. Embarkation took hours. We arrived at our stated time, but were hours to get through the process. Once finally onboard it was very underwhelming. Staff that gave directions - gave the wrong directions, the information regarding Muster station was conflicting, and the limited availability of food was surprising. The buffet had a few very small snacks and they were completely tasteless. The coffee was horrible, the desserts were rubber and tasteless. I was shocked at the food quality. This is a luxury line? The state of the desks is terrible. The decks, the deck chairs, the railings, the stairs, the pools- everything was terribly neglected. I sat on a deck chair and stained my clothing. The staff seemed exhausted and overwhelmed. We were only acknowledged if we asked a question and the responses were one or two words. The cabin was clean and acceptable but this is NOT a luxury line. We were missing items in our cabin. We are avid cruisers and were so excited to sail on Cunard. I can not state enough how disappointed we were- This is not a company I would support. This is the last time I will set foot on a Cunard cruise. Save your money and book on Norwegian or Celebrity and experience customer service and a great holiday. Run away from Cunard. I would also like to state that in attempting to get anything resolved we experienced defensive, rude, and argumentative staff. Unacceptable

Cabin Review

Standard Inside

Very clean, adequate, nothing different than any other cruise line inside cabin.
