Sail Date: Apr 2022

We have sailed on over 7 cruises (RC, Carnival and NCL) and this was the most disappointing cruise yet. The most glaring disappointment was in the food and beverage area. While we (myself, brother and Dad.. to celebrate his 90th birthday) managed to find something to at the Windjammer buffet MOST of the time, the main dining room was horrible, both for breakfast and especially dinner. It seams that they would rather you eat at the upscale and upcharge venues and push this by serving sub par food in the (already paid for) Main Dining Room. Our wait staff (table 348) was outstanding, other than the "team leader" who actually was a bit argumentative when we complained about the lobster being a half a lobster rather than a tail as described on the menu (and carried a substantial upcharge).

Regarding beverages (we had the deluxe package), they would only pour single shots on the rocks which seemed short sighted as it required several trips to get a decent drink.

On the positive side, service was outstanding. If they are having trouble hiring staff, it did not show at all. Shout outs to Helena (cabin steward for balcony #7550), Samone (who brought coffee and pastries each morning on time as requested)

Cabin Review

Sufficient for the 3 of us.
