We chose this cruise to sample something different plus the Portugese crew seemed a plus. The facilities were kept clean. We didn't really want for much of anything. Food was good, free beverages were too. The dining areas were always opened at the designated times.
Tours were interesting, but after the first church & museum visit they all started to run together, so we broke away from those parts of the itinerary & explored other sights close by the group. The tour guides tried their best and did a reasonably good job but there were some small glitches inevitably. I was told this was the second cruise for Radiance in this season.
The activities and talks were genuinely interesting. We learned how to make our own version of the famous Portugese tiles (azulejos). Cooking classes, wine talks, cultural topics all made the trip interesting.
A bit bigger room size than another river cruise we made. Our biggest gripe was having the bathroom door being no more than 2 ft. from your bed. It would have been nice not to have the door staring you in the face. Lots of mirrors, numerous times almost walked into them.
