Sail Date: Apr 2022

We sailed from Portland, OR (Hayden Island) making a call at a different location each day Astoria, OR, Kalama, WA, Stevenson, WA, The Dalles, OR, Richland, WA and Clarkston, WA, tracing the steps of Lewis and Clark. Our passengers disembarked and in 3 hours we were loading another set of passengers for a return to Portland. We arrived back at Hayden Island again disembarked and had new passengers join us for a short "Get To Know Us Cruise"...my terminology, but 4 days on a lovely clean made in America ship for a river cruise to introduce you to the fine art of river cruise in a most picturesque area the Columbia and Snake rivers. We left Hayden Island, sailed to Astoria, Kalama - for an exciting ribbon cutting ceremony of a new dock,, and then the next day we arrived in Hood River, OR, before returning to Hayden Island.

Cabin Review

My companion and I shared a room on the main deck at the waterline with a comfortable balcony with two chairs. The weather was conducive to sitting out about half the time - temps ranged from low 30s to 80s in the the three weeks, we even had snow and the deck hands built a snowman on the top deck!

A nice size room, two single beds, (although could have been a king had we wished), dresser, desk, two chairs in the room, a closet and a nice bathroom with a corner shower with great water pressure and soaps, shampoo, and conditioners, with a hair dryer provided. The room also came with a safe.
