Sail Date: Apr 2022

Have cruised 4 times with Princess and would rate the first three as 5 star. This cruise was the first cruise with a full ship after resuming sailing. Unfortunately it was staffed for a half capacity cruise. Embarking took many people 2-3 hours. The ship left 1hr 15minutes late because they could not get the people on board. Many people had dining and excursions they had ordered in advance cancelled. The specialty restaurants were each only open every other day. Those who had prebooked on one of the closed days had their reservation cancelled. Only one side of the buffet was ever open so the lines were unreal. On one day the dining room was closed for lunch so the wait was about 45 minutes. Dining reservations could only be made on the TV, portal or medallion only and often only showed 8:40PM reservations. When you approached the dining room you could easily be seated at 7:00PM.

We had to set up the interest five different times as it continued to disconnect. The internet was so slow in the internet cafe that we were timed out twice trying to print airline boarding passes. On our first shore excursions in Seatle we boarded the bus after our scheduled departure time. The bus was full and the driver ready when the driver was removed from the bus and we waited 25 minutes for a new driver to arrive. We ended up leaving the terminal 105 minutes after schedule. On our second shore excursion we had hoped for a smoother departure however,. In Vancouver we were directed to the terminal to board our bus. After 45 minutes with the terminal empty except for our group; We were taken to the bus at 10:45 only to find out that our driver had been waiting since 9:00AM.

Our last excursion we walked off the ship to a horse drawn carriage and all went smoothly until we tried to reboard the ship and there was a 10 minute line to reboard.

Cabin Review

We had a balcony cabin on Caribe Deck. It was of typical size and in a nice location.
