We wanted to sail the Panorama because it was a new ship and because of family harbor. Embarkation day? What a complete disaster. From getting to the port to getting on the ship was the most horrable experience that I have ever had.

From boarding crew to on board crew, Lets just say, I have been treated better. First off it took over 2 Hrs just to get to the parking garage. Since we were on the 10:30 boarding, we decided to leave a little early, just to be safe that we would make it. We left our hotel at 9:30 and arrived to the back of the line to the harbor by 9:40. From the back of the line to the parking garage was the worst. By the time we had parked it was was close to 11:30. The line outside of the terminal was outragous. My hubby, being in his 70's and having had back surgery years ago, can't stand for long periods of time. no way was he going to standing for hours in that line. We did get a wheel chair for him so he could sit while waiting. That took over 45 minutes. The guy who brought us the chair and stayed with us was very nice and just great. he got us through the lower lever stuff pretty quickly and we got to the elevators pretty fast. From there everything went down hill fast. We have always stayed together as a family group, (2 adults and 3 teens) even in the elevator. I have asthma and am overweight so I always just followed hubby without a problem, not mentioning my asthma. Well, the lady taking care of the elevator was horrable. We told her we needed to stay together, but no. She was a witch and refused to let us go with hubby, even after begging her to let us stay together. I never thought to say, I need to ride too because of my asthma and went up the walk way. Needless to say, I had a severe asthma attack and was having problems breathing. My daugher was scared to death thinking I was going to collapse right there. Another passanger was kind enough to take my carry on luggage to the top of the ramp for us. I was so pissed from that witch for what she had done. As for the ship, it was nice, but so big it was a hassle to go all over the place on and getting lost was not fun at all.. I so prefer the smaller ships and will stick to them from now on. We were at 70% capacity because of covids, so the ship didn't feel over crowded.

Dining was pretty good, our waiters were fantastic and did a great job most nights.

Cabin Review

Family Harbor Deluxe Ocean View

we had a Family Harbor deluxe ocean view room. It was pretty good, with a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teens (14 yr old son, 15 yr old daughter & 16 yr old son) it was a little cramped but was great. having 2 bathrooms was ok, but would have been better with both bathrooms having toilets instead of just one of them. I would love to see these rooms on other ships too, they would be so worth it.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

We didn't really do any of the ports, we have done the mexican cruise several times and just wanted to get the full experience with the Panorama and experience what a BIG ship has to offer.
