We chose this cruise because it was transatlantic and had few ports (2) before arrival in Portugal. Due to Covid we were craving a get away but safely considering infection control etc.. We have a long history with the incredible staff and ships of Seabourn. But in today's environment you must be cautious.

We purchased, as we usually do, one of the most expensive suites aboard this ship and we were treated as VIPs as usual. However, the staff is nearly universally new and it made a huge difference in our experience.

The facilities were all excellent, suite as expected, public areas immaculately clean etc. but the inexperience of the staff was so evident that we regretted the huge amount of money we spent for a premium suite for 13 days.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Spa Suite

We prefer the Penthouse Spa suites and our cabin stewardesses were exceptional, however the customary perks provided in a spa suite did not automatically appear like in our past several voyages in this category. We had to ask for them and in each staff they were surprised and unaware that these things were one of the reasons we chose a Spa suite.
