My Wife and I chose this cruise as we originally had it booked for 2020 pre pandemic.

It was to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary albeit 2 years late. We tied it in with a 4 day stay in Vegas and a 4 day stay in LA both pre cruise.

We were very excited to be sailing on the brand new Discovery Princess,Originally we were supposed to sail on Regal Princess,we took a UK Staycation cruise on her last September so we were able to make comparisons.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Small but very clean, lovely decor but the patio door had a rattle which they unsuccessfully tried to fix ( on a 3 week old ship?)

Excellent steward in John ,plenty of storage

Next time May have a mini suite so as to access better Morning dining service

Port Reviews

Ensenada

Tacky, cheap, scruffy, busy, many beggars but excellent bars and after cheap Margaritas,Tequilas and beers we had the best day ever and sang happily all the way back to the ship. We loved Ensenada
