Coming back from our excursion.
Las Caletas. Rythmns of the Night excursion
Rythmns of the Night show.

Embarkation: From Long Beach. A NIGHTMARE. A two hour wait outside, in line to even check in. We were told this was because they needed to check each person's COVID paperwork and ask some questions. The normal streamline process was nowhere to be found. Lots of exhausted crazy people boarding that boat!

Vista Dining: Of course, the waiters are the best part. Friendly and funny. We had any time dining and you can go to the Carnival app to sign up for a table. Wait is usually less than 10 minutes. We would book while we were in our cabin and by the time we were at the Vista our table was ready. Food, for the most part was good but what wasn't eaten in the restaurant ended up in the Lido the next day.

Specialty Dining: Steakhouse was very good. Perfectly grilled steaks and half price bottles of wine on the night we ate there. JiJi Asian was delicious, would recommend. La Cucina, great for Italian.

Cabin Review

Of course, small, but very clean with lots of storage space and TONS of hangers in the closet! Our room was super quiet other than the group that stayed next door. But no ship noise or anything. 8269. Room stewards were super nice and attentive.
