I had always wanted to take a River cruise, so for our anniversary my husband surprised me with a Viking River Cruise down the Seine to Normandy. As we approach the ship we were greeted by a Viking representative who collected our luggage and directed us aboard the ship for check in. We were greeted in the lobby and the check in was quick and painless. We dropped our bags in our balcony stateroom and headed to the dining room for a delicious lunch.

Everything about the cruise was well planned and painlessly executed. We received a newsletter each day with information about our excursions, with highlights of the area we were visiting.

We purchased an extension to visit Oxford and Windsor Castle. It was a magical experience and one I will never forget.

Cabin Review

Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet, so no sleepless nights. My husband’s favorite feature were the heated floor in the bathroom!
