From the deck of Royal Caribbean Adventure of The Seas.

For our first ever cruise, we chose Royal Caribbean and Adventure of The Seas. We had a really great first experience! We had a balcony cabin on deck 6 and it was close to everything.

First, can I just say that Tornado Tanya is a freaking one-woman force of nature! Our expectations of what a cruise director should be is based on this woman and it is a very high bar indeed! This brings me to the shows. We loved the entertainment on this voyage. From the ice skating, to the comedian (Hi there Graig Murphy!), dancers and singers all hit it out of the park for us. We loved the trivia contests, karaoke and game shows.

The food over all was excellent. The best thing we ate by far was the pre fixe menu at Giovanni's Table. Holy cow, that filet was out of this world! The main dining room was solid most nights, but over the cruise there were some misses in MDR. If you get a chance, pass on the seafood puff pastry. It was inedible. The high point of MDR was the lobster.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was a standard balcony. Close to the stairs and elevators, but we never heard a lot of noise from anyone. We loved sitting on the balcony.
