Our experience on the Princess Majestic in most cases was as expected. Entertainment was excellent, our room steward was great, our stateroom kept very clean and as expected for a balcony stateroom. We particularly enjoyed our coffee in the morning from the International Cafe. The pastries were ok, not spectacular. Bar staff, front desk staff, dining room staff all were friendly and helpful. The ship itself is very nice and we enjoyed sitting in the Crown Grill area to listen to the great music by the piano player. One exception which was very disappointing and not what we had experienced on past Princess Cruises (23 total) was the quality and selection of the food in the dining rooms as well as the buffet. Most of the food was tasteless, even the soups were bland. The only good meal we had was at the Crown Grill which we paid extra for. We never were seated at the same table in the dining room even though we had made reservations in advance. The crew all tried very hard to be accommodating and helpful and we appreciated this very much! Princess really needs to do better with their food.
