We chose this itinerary for the seadays involved in getting to and from HI. We'd also had nice experiences with Princess pre-pandemic so we opted for them again.

While we were in lockdown, Princess spent two years developing an onboard network tool called Medallion. It's a device, the medallion they issue you on boarding to wear on your person, and it's a network for interfacing with services on the ship. But, it's the most godawful thing you can imagine.

1. My virus software, Bitdefender, would go nuts when I would open the "Medallion" app. Bitdefender is a top product in terms of rating and market share. So I conclude that Medallion is virus infested or at least makes you vulnerable to one.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We had a balcony stateroom on Baja deck (11). The room was adequate but a bit long in the tooth. Cabin steward was top notch.
