This was our 4th cruise with NCL, first bringing our 2 teenage sons (17 & 14). We were very impressed with the food- the boys LOVED the Garden Cafe with the buffet and variety. We dined at Teppanyaki and La Cucina. Enjoyed both. We were even more impressed with Taste and Savor, the other complementary dining available- we enjoyed dinner 3 nights there. The entertainment was very good- we saw Footloose, the acrobats, the magician and Elements. We never found ourselves without something to do! Three out of four of our shore excursions were good. Wish the pool had been larger! Mojito bar- Sugarcane- was a favorite. We had 2 connecting balconies on deck 12 and it was perfect for our family. Shore Excursions: In Roatan we selected the Tabyana Beach- small beach and although there was a rope separating the lounge chairs from the beach there were still local vendors attempting to sell things. The lunch provided was good. We were able to rent snorkel gear and that was nice. Would not take this excursion again. In Harvest Caye we did catch and release fishing- This was our family’s favorite. The boat took out 12 of us and we fished for 2 solid hours (we could have had an hour less and it would have been perfect). Afterwords we headed to the pool/beach area. Thankfully we had left our towels and bag by the pool on some chairs or else we wouldn’t have been able to find a space! Costa Maya was our least favorite stop. We did the Beach Getaway at Beach Escape. Had the drinks not been included we might have taken a cab back to the boat shortly after getting there. Beach was SO crowded. Ocean was very rocky. You couldn’t have paid me to get into the pool. Finally in Cozumel we did the Fury snorkel and catamaran. Would highly recommend this. Snorkeled for 45 minutes then went to a private beach with water slides and trampolines. All drinks included. Food was extra.

The only other word of advice is to prepare to spend some money on board- we played deal/no deal twice, bingo once and the boys hit the arcade everyday. All were extra.
