The whole event was a disaster form beginning to the end. Even when the Jade broke down with engine failure towards the end of our trip to see the Dutch tulip fields, it was not the worst problems with which had to engage.
My wife & I have traveled previously by sea & river, mostly thanks to Silversea & Uniworld both excellent. The vast majority of our unfortunate fellow passengers on the Jade, mostly Americans & Brits had traveled with Scenic before and found them to be good. This time however not one of the 132 people onboard that we spoke to would ever travel with Scenic ever again.
The main complaints was the inability to contact Scenic either by phone or email. The poor standard of the food and wine on offer, and the inept and irritating Canadian Cruise director. Plus the ever changing schedules.
