I last cruised in 2016 and the first thing I noticed were the improvements made. (Not that the past cruise was bad). The service and staff performed beyond my highest expectations. The food was fabulous, the games and entertainment were top notch and the attention to detail about cleanliness and upkeep was outstanding. I don’t think there are enough superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed the cruise. It was the first cruise for my friend and she loved it.

To be fair there were a few initial glitches, mostly due to our own ignorance but they were cheerfully and efficiently solved by the amazing staff. My only disappointment was the limited amount of excursions that were easy and/or wheelchair accessible. But if you opt to stay on the boat or do your own thing it didn’t disappoint. I can hardly wait for my next cruise. THANK YOU Princess for a wonderful two weeks that went by way too fast and thank you staff and crew of the Emerald Princess for making me feel like a Princess.

Cabin Review

Clean and oh so comfortable. Perfect!

Port Reviews

Aruba

The bus tour was nice and we enjoyed the interesting stops but the visit to the beach was disappointing. We had to rent chairs for $10 which I thought was a bit expensive for little over an hour as we couldn’t get an umbrella so had to sit way back on the beach to stay in the shade. The bus driver was great , friendly and knowledgeable.

Barbados

Submarine cruise was great. A little cozy for my over weight body but well worth it. The viewing was amazing the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Easy boat transfers for my not so agile body. Definitely recommend.

Bonaire

We saw both sides of the island from a distance. The wild life was fun: wild donkeys, parakeets, flamingos. The sites that were pointed out were very interesting: bee hives, termite nests, and more.

Dominica

Interesting talking to a native in their own area. The activities mentioned were not available for participation but the demonstrations were great. It’s a lot of time on the bus but the drive took us through the beautiful countryside and small villages. The food served at the native village was wonderful but the crafts portion of the tour was a little disappointing and the guides and driver were wonderful.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Swam with the dolphins. Woohoo it was great!!!! Best time ever and of course, too short. BE WARNED: stick with a Princess Excursion. We booked through an outside company which caused us to be late and we had to provide our own transportation to the site (however out taxi driver was super). The dolphins were wonderful, the trainers were instructive and friendly. My very favorite excursion even though we should have booked with Princess.

St. Lucia

Excursion description was misleading but the trip was still good. The bus ride was entertaining as it took us through a variety of areas. The hosts at the farm were very informative and interesting - actually they were GREAT. The dancing was limited to one young man and 2 drummers but was a lot of fun. All in all I can recommend this excursion if you have an interest in growing, planting, and production of the area agriculture. I enjoyed it.
