Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This was our seventh cruise and fourth from Southampton. This was our second time on Independence, we previously cruised on her in May 2008. We once again had booked a D2 Balcony cabin on Deck 9 Midships.

We arrived at the terminal a little after 10am.

People were already unloading luggage and so we joined the queue. Once our baggage was unloaded we proceeded to the car park and walked over to the terminal. We had to wait around until check in opened for a while and then they did not start boarding until 11:15am - we were told cabins would not be ready till 3pm.
