Like most cruisers, having had cruises cancelled over the past 2 years, my wife and I were eager to get back to our favourite holiday. We booked the cruise leaving from Barbados and visiting a Greneda, the ABC islands and St. Lucia (instead of Trinidad).

After a long journey from Glasgow to Bridgetown via Heathrow, we were met with long queues and delays at the airport, which seemed not to be able to cope with even the one flight that had arrived. Unfortunately, at least 20 suitcases were missing, ours included, and the ground staff had no idea how to handle the situation. We had to leave without our luggage and were given a taxi ride to the terminal (use the term loosely - its a large warehouse).

Long queues with insufficient staff to handle the registration and Covid testing - another 1 hour wait. So we arrive on the ship at 9:00pm, very tired and very stressed.

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Like new layout with better space to sit. Bed was comfortable and steward kept it spotless. Balcony was adequate for the two of us. Missed the tea/coffee making facilities which we had been used to in other ships.

Port Reviews

Grenada

Tour guide was very amatuerish, quite abrupt and did not take her time to wait for slower tourists to catch up.

Aruba

Tour guide certainly knew her stuff and was most enthusiastic.

St. Lucia

Our original tour was cancelled so had to go on a visit to 3 plantations.

All guides quite amatuer but suppose it's getting back into the swing of things after a few years.
