This cruise suited us as a family as it was in the Easter holidays, this was our 12th cruise and 4th with P&O. Previously cruised on RCL, Disney, Cunard and Princess. The ship although not spectacular is well presented and clean, no obvious signs of wear and tear. We had a balcony cabin that was well maintained by the pleasant steward. The destinations were adequate and it was nice to see Spain & France coming out of the pandemic and allowing tourism with no restrictions. The entertainment on the ship was good and in abundance with the theatre and the live lounge having family entertainment every night and at times that didn't clash. The pop up quizzes on the ship were welcome, fun and filled the gap, so simple but affective. The food in the MDR was not as good as we have previously experienced and the portion sizes are definitely on the retreat, however it wasn't horrible. Ate at both Sindhu (twice) and the Beach-house that were both excellent for food and service. I would also like to mention the food and service at the horizon court - due to covid this was served for you by the P&O team, they did this expertly with no long queues and you have as much or as little as you like. The curry and biriyani's were as good as you will get anywhere. Overall a nice and relaxing cruise.
A few inconsistences regarding covid rules onboard, therefore they should stop the virtue signalling and return back to normal or make it personal choice.
