We had been planning this Nile Cruise when the Sphinx had caught on fire & then Covid came round. We finally re-booked for our 32 anniversary in March 2022. Egypt had been on our bucket list and Uniworld was quoted as being the luxury of the Nile river boat ships. This was/is the way to go if you want to see EVERY pyramid. We had spent 5 days on our own in Cario and had private tours before joining up with Uniworld at the Four Seasons. Overall an AMAZING trip- What made it an amazing trip was our guide and our butler in our Royal Suite. Our guide was Ramadan & he knows EVERYTHING and he knew EVERYONE. He was kind and assisted us above and beyond with our travels since we had several flights during our cruise and lots of early mornings. He was passionate about his country and it showed. Make sure you are in his group! Our butler was Momohomid and he was the BEST. He made this trip incredible for us with his 5 star profession service & care/he was always there with a smile when needed and assisted us with EVERYTHING. He was always there when we arrived back at the ship each day to welcome us back and made sure that we had everything before we needed it.

As I said the trip was AMAZING because of these 2 gentleman above, now lets talk about the ship.

The ship, Sphinx was good and the staff was great.

Cabin Review

Our Royal Suite was AMAZING, we were in #316. Make sure you book on the right side of the ship to ensure you are not blocked by another ship while being docked. We were on the 3rd floor at the back of the ship, VERY QUITE!!!! We had a butler and he was AMAZING, Momohomid, he is the BEST! We did order to have a portable room heater to be brought on bard since we traveled in March the morning & nights were cold & there is NO heat on the ship or rooms- NOWHERE. We had flowers in our room, a fulled stocked mini fridge, linens/towels changed daily, and we even had dinner served in our suite. The guys keep the room & the ship VERY CLEAN and they always had a smile on their faces and greeted.
