Princess does a great job of selecting and training their staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed the games, dining and entertainment. All six of us had fun playing bocci ball, golf, croquet, etc. The food selection was good and tasty. The Indian curry was a big plus. The comedy, dancing and singing were fun. We took at least one excursion at every port. We all enjoyed the transit through the Panama Canal Atlantic locks and the excursions to old Panama City and Colonial Panama City. I really enjoyed the tour of the Spanish Fort in Cartagena, Columbia. The holler monkeys, sloths and other animals were fun to see in Costa Rica. Jamica was so-so. Be ready to observe the poverty in all these nations. People will hustle for your money, especially in Cartagena. It was a fun trip for all.

Now for the lousy stuff. Embarkation was extremely poor and disorganized in the people holding room. People were breaking queue and there were no directions. Nobody was in charge. No one kept us informed. It appeared that the Princess ground staff had never done this previously. It was a zoo. We felt very unsafe on the excursion to Old Panama City. The bus driver was driving at least 20 mph over the speed limit and mostly in the wrong lane. Weaving in and out of traffic. In Jamaica some of the seat belts were broken. Princess appears to be so concerned with safety on the ship but abandons its responsibility on excursions. Princess should only use qualified vendors that adhere to safety guidelines. My wife has informed me that no more excursion bus rides for her. Many other people also complained about this issue. The excursions guides waste time by stopping at shops where, I'm sure, that they get kickbacks. This is another issue that Princess should review.
