Have traveled with Silversea on over 20 cruises now, on most of the ships. The last time we traveled this ship was Christmas 2018. Only 4 stops, so most were sea days, however lack of any 'activites' most days and only 1 day where we were provided with an 'extra' food offering on pool meant our group were rather bored. La Terezza has stopped providing a 'restaurant' drink to start the meal and less on menu. Main restaurant no longer has the 'all day' menu, nor the cheese menu (something I love) and despite it being 13 days the menu stayed practically the same. We drink ziffandel wine, always have and for previous cruises we alwasy had something we could drink. Not on this cruise. We tried to pre book ziffandel/Beringer and were told it was not necessary as it was a standard wine. It definately was not, all they offered was a French rose. Had booked twice for Seshin but when we went to speak to the manager about my allergy he was very dismissive and walked away from us. The next day we went back to cancel our reservations and again we were ignored by him. Not something I have ever experienced with Silversea before and don't want to again. Booked a spa pass for 2 of us, and couldn't believe the state of the area. The hot tub was cold, despite 3 attempts to fix it during the day, as were both saunas. Definately not worth paying for. The $100pp trip we booked in Lisbon was a rip off - the sign next to the boat said it cost $5 - so $95 to Silversea for a bus ride and a guide! Half way through the cruise drink started running out - Reme, Baileys, Disarrano and it went on and on. It wasn't as if we could get off and have our favourite drinks!

Entertainment was just the Silversea company - one would sing one night, then a film night, then another singer and so on - we only had 2 full cast shows. On 2 nights we had 'name the tune' type games. On other 13 day cruises we had at least one, possibly 2 entertainers on the ship as well as the Silversea singers, who were not that good as others we've seen when singing together.

I know cruiselines are trying to save money, but what is happening on this ship and possibly other Silversea ships does not make it a luxury cruiseline anymore.

Cabin Review

Lovely as always. We had 2 cabins. Our butler(s) were marvelous
