I am not going to lie, I have had a negative impression of Carnival Cruises. My husband and I took a Carnival Cruise for our honeymoon and it wasn't that awesome. But that was a long time ago. When our NCL Escape cruise got cancelled 4 days before sailing, we were faced with going on Carnival or not going on vacation. We decided to go ahead and "suffer" through it rather than not go on vacation. I am SO glad we did.

The Ship-

Beautiful-huge-so much to see. I tried to take a tour of the boat day 1 but ended up at the bar instead. I honestly am not sure I even saw the whole boat! It is new and the look is so modern and beautiful. I was surprised to see things broken, being that it is a brand new ship. There was a glass wall that was over the Grand Central area was shattered and taped up. There were stairs that were broken and repaired. The foosball table was shattered and some things on the mini-golf course was broken. I can only imagine that there were teens that went crazy, but Carnival should monitor this better. These were small things... but being a new ship it did take me by surprise.
