This riverboat was last refurbished in 2011 and really could do with a new refurbishment. It is looking tired. WiFi is free, but doesn't work most of the time. The cabin had no drawers, only shelves and a couple of very narrow wardrobes. The heating was virtually non-existent, OK when the sun was shining through the window, but the cabin was cold otherwise. Sofas in the public room are leather, looking worn and cracked. Bathroom very tiny. My shower was difficult as the head would not stay upright so I had to hold it by hand. You cannot board until 6 pm which is much later than other river boats I have been on. It really means the first "day" is only an evening.
However, there are positives. The food was very good, although there is no choice. Drinks, not only at mealtimes, were included in the price. The beds are comfortable, but the duvets a bit heavy and lumpy. The staff was amazingly helpful and pleasant (but this was only the start of the season). The boat was clean.
Cabins are small. Boats are built to fit the locks on that particular river, so the width of the boat is limited. There was little furniture in the cabin, two beds, some shelves, two narrow wardrobes and a small desk and mirror. Heating was not great.
