Just returned from an absolutely wonderful cruise on the Carnival Mardi Gras. It was our 21st cruise and the 20th with Carnival. The fact that our 20th cruise was with another line is a direct indication on where Carnival had fallen to. The Mardi Gras re-instated my love for Carnival Cruising. Here's a breakdown.
The only minus is a pretty big one... The Elevator design is awful. This was a complete miss!!! I see a lot of posts stating this. Elevators are smaller and too few for the amount of folks on board. That's it. One minus!!
Embarkation - fairly smooth - a lot of folks to get on board, so actually a pretty good job.
Cabin Review
Cabin was beautiful. Balcony was quite large. Cabin Service was exceptional.
