We had heard stories about the beauty of Budapest so we were anxious to travel there. This was our 3rd Viking Cruise; all have been wonderful. Our original sail date had been the previous year, but something called Covid forced a delay. As it turned out, we did sail in September but with only 38 passengers (typically meant for 190). We were tested daily and obeyed mask mandate while on board; except while dining or on the top deck) The Viking Crew & Staff were fantastic, as usual. They make you feel as if you are the most important person on the ship. Great entertainment, great food, great wine & drinks, great sites & sights, and a spotless ship.

Budapest did not disappoint, it is a beautiful city and the 2 days there were well spent. Belgrade is another city well worth the visit. The fortress in Kalemegdan Park has a beautiful view of the Sava & Danube Rivers. Both of these cities are enjoyable & safe to walk. Many interesting excursions along the way. We definitely enjoyed the Puszta horsemanship; great Hungarian horsemanship skills! So many things to see & enjoy. Yes, we loved this cruise!

Thank you again, Viking River Cruises

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

Perfect. We only used our cabin for sleeping, too many things "outside" to keep us "inside"
