..the Wonder of the Seas is indeed a wonderful ship, with many improvements (and one not) over its sister Symphony of the Seas, which we sailed in the spring of 2019. The addition of the bleacher seats between pools is a huge plus. Adds much seating with a lot of it shaded. The added infinity hot tubs are really sharp. Loved the updated Solarium which we visited each and every day. Air conditioned with plenty of seating, pool and hot tubs. Nice bar and of course the Solarium Bistro, a buffet which we ate most breakfasts at. The Windjammer was moved to 15 and the Sports courts and activities to 16. Made the WJ a gigantic horseshoe around the Boardwalk.

Entertainment- While there is no Broadway show, Voices was a nice, but not spectacular show. But 365 and the Aqua Theater made up for it. Both were the best we've seen. Incredible. And Tap was cancelled due to a likely outbreak but we were not disappointed with its fill-in, DSB, a Journey cover band. Sounded just like the real thing and had the audience rocking. Comedy was ok. Love and Marriage never fails to deliver. Mike the cruise director is good but tends to disappear and leaves the pool fun to his backups, who simply aren't up to the task. Make sure to see singer in the Scottish bar on the Promenade. We loved him.

Activities- no belly flop contest yet and the mini golf is an absolute joke. Unplayable silly course, un-numbered holes (can't figure out which hole is next) and an incredibly poor layout. Either a 9 year old or some one who's never picked up a putter (or both) designed it. Needs to be gutted and re-done. We love to have family tournaments but one look at the course and we walked on. One flow-rider, the Abyss slide, etc.

Cabin Review

We wanted mid ship, both back to front and top to bottom, so we picked 8592, a bubble balcony closer to the front elevator shaft. Perfect room. Our balcony was 50% larger and on the front part of the bubble which allowed us a forward view while cruising. Room was a bed second setup which we prefer. Oasis ship balcony rooms are spacious with a decent couch, 2 closets, plenty of drawer space (didn't use all of ours and we packed heavy) and for once A COMFORTABLE BED! RCL is notorious for rock hard beds. Our cruises on Adventure and Symphony had to add an extra comforter under the fitted sheet to make it sweepable. Not here. Brand new bedding style. Well done. Bath room ample sized and instant hot water in shower with great water pressure.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Took an über to the beach area and relaxed at one of the many lively bars.

Labadee

A huge surprise. Wonderful scenery. Plenty of activities and beaches. Did the Dragons Lair coaster twice. Outstanding.

San Juan

Pina Coladas at Barrachina, the home of the Pina colada! Delicious.

St. Thomas

Botanical Gardens/Mountain bus tour was excellent. Low key but exposed us to a lot of the island and incredible views. Recommended.
