We had previously sailed from Bucharest to Budapest on Viking and we wanted to complete the cruise by sailing from Budapest to Amsterdam. We delayed for a year because of COVID. The Ports of Call were all interesting. and Vikings included tours were fine. The tour guides were knowledgeable. We were tested for COVID daily, Thus was not an issue and gave one a sense of security. The ship was two thirds full and never felt crowded. The Viking crew was friendly and always available to assist or answer one's questions.. The cruise Director was knowledgeable and kept things lively especially at night after dinner.. The meals were fine and we especially like the regional cuisine that was optional. The only negative was the weather which was typical of October in Europe - Some days rains, some days cold while other days in was warm and sunny. We strongly recommend this cruise,

Veranda Stateroom

We chose a balcony for this cruise. Previously we had chosen a non-balcony room and it seemed a little cramped, Balcony gave the illusion that you had more room and siting on the balcony was enjoyable when the weather permitted.
