We were fortunate that we were one step ahead of the Christmas Market closures. The weather was comfortable on the way from Budapest, but, was getting colder as we ventured north toward Amsterdam. The Viking Crew was very attentive to our every need. Steven the Cruise Director entertained us each evening along with Thomas, the Hotel Director. Csaba the piano player, played every song that the guests requested. Michael and Christian took care of our requests at lunch, and in the lounge thereafter. Meals were fabulous. Couldn't wait for the next regional specialty. The cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam was even better than expected. The tours, both included and optional, were informative and insightful. The scenery along the way was spectacular. Would highly recommend this cruise to anyone that is looking for a relaxing way to travel the great waterways of central Europe. Can't wait for our next Viking River Cruise in September.
