We had never been on a river cruise and were hesitant but ended up loving it. It was more intimate and personalized than an ocean cruise. The crew was wonderful, got to know everyone by first name and came to know everything we liked. All the food was delicious and plentiful. The ports and excursions were all interesting & very informative, well organized & fun. The cabins were spotless and cleaned and set up multiple times a day. The internet worked fine and also the TV. And there were a lot of movies to choose from. We would always bring daily snacks to the room. We loved it so much that we've already booked out next Viking river cruise! We can only hope that the next cruise with Viking will be as nice or hopefully exceed what we were just on in Europe. Viking is and has been he best cruise line we have ever been on.
