We picked this cruise based on the strength of the shows, specifically the Queen themed, "We Will Rock You". Our departure date was on 3/27/2022. Once on board, we slowly discovered that there would be no shows. The first day we were told the app was down and that was why we could not book any shows. The next day, they finally told us that "We Will Rock You" had been canceled. It eventually became apparent that "Spectra’s Cabaret" and "The Gift" were also not going to happen. They were replaced with comedians and cover bands, which do not compare to the Broadway style shows. Because of the lack of entertainment options, this was the first disappointing cruise we have been on.

The ship itself was nice. The music hall was a neat venue. The crew was friendly and attentive. They have some unique features like the North Star viewing portal and sky diving. It was very difficult to get a reservation for the complimentary times but we did find one for the sky diving on a port day. The kids loved the bumper cars, arcade and Adventure Ocean.

Food in the main dining room was good. Windjammer's buffet was what you expect out of a buffet but not as good as past Royal Caribbean cruises. The Two70 cafe was a nice change of pace. We stuck with complimentary dining options and were not disappointed.

Cabin Review

We had two connected interior state rooms with the virtual balconies. The rooms were nice and the virtual balcony made the room feel warmer. We did not miss having a real balcony much but it was cold for half of our trip. The stateroom attendant did an excellent job and the kids loved the towel animals.

Port Reviews

Perfect Day at CocoCay

We were impressed with the variety of water attractions and beaches. It is amazing how much they have built up the island. The tacos at lunch were amazing with fresh tortillas and tender steak. Best lunch we had during the cruise.

Nassau

There are many options in the Bahamas but we took a taxi to Love Beach to get away from the crowds. It was a nice relaxing beach day. Love beach has restrooms, food and free Wi-Fi that a lot of public beaches are lacking.
