Packaged as an 80’s Extravaganza the fact that it was on the new Virgin ship was an added bonus.

Everything on the ship goes through their Virgin Voyagers App, which unfortunately is not fit for purpose. We had numerous problems downloading the app and being able to input necessary information, we had to reinstall it on numerous occasions. Onboard the ship the app was even more temperamental, as it appears the bandwidth available was insufficient to support it. This meant that there were problems booking restaurants and entertainment. The app also advised that you could only book any restaurant once on any trip and you would have to join a virtual queue. This was incorrect, there was no issue with booking restaurants more than once, but you only found this out through trial and error.

Shows got booked up very quickly, considering this ship was only half full I dread to think what will happen when it is full. The theatre and other show spaces are very small and the entertainment provided in the open bars areas was very low key.
