As regular cruise travellers with American cruise lines (20+) we were excited to try a short cruise on Cunard. We booked this four night cruise on Queen Elizabeth from Southampton to Amsterdam.

The first impression of this Ship was good but our experience soon went spiraling down. The Stateroom attendant was initally pleasant but ignored us after the first meeting. The bed sheets were not changed during the cruise and there was minimal cleaning.

The service in restaurants and entertainment venues was extremely poor. Waits of up to 40 minutes to get a drink - 15% forced gratuities added to the already high cost of drinks for bad service. The cheapest glass of white wine was 10.50$ plus 15% for a basic white Douro from Portugal! Read more
