Cabin:

This was my third cruise with RCCL. I've been on about eighteen cruises on five different cruise lines. The ship and crew were excellent. I’d especially like to sail on Brilliance or her sister ships again, as the full promenade was great for walks and enjoying the sea.

However, RCCL will be below several other cruise lines on the list of options. Why? Because, although the great majority of guests on the cruise were fine, I really don’t want to overhear loud, and sometimes vulgar conversations in the main dining room. I can live with the shorts, tank tops and ball caps that were worn to dinner in the main dining room, where we dined three of the four nights. However, guests at nearby tables made the atmosphere unpleasant. I won't be explicit - let's just say conversation at some tables included slang and anatomical references. The maitre d' was very cooperative and found us other tables on following nights, but it didn't help much. Some of the guests act as though the MDR is a dive bar.
