Virgin Voyages want to be different from all other cruise lines and they have succeeded. Unfortunately for them they are different in a negative way in almost all areas.
To avoid having a buffet, they have The Galley which is similar to a buffet but you give your order to a waiter and they bring it to you. Seems reasonable you would think but everything comes to you and your party at different times so everyone eats at different times and usually the food is cold and many occasions not what you ordered.
The choice of food is a fraction of a normal buffet and the menu never changes. You can have a burger, salad, toastie, noodles or 24 hour breakfast. If you go at the wrong time then you have a smaller selection. They do have a pizza cafe but this only open at non meal times ???. So not for lunch or dinner.
