Having spent 2 weeks on QE in November on a cruise to the canaries & maderia in a standard balcony cabin I thought it would be useful to some to compare experiences of a short trip to Amsterdam in princess grill in March.

The first obvious difference is space. The princess Grill cabin was approx a third bigger overall, however contains a walk in dressing area with a spacious bathroom with a bath. Their are other subtle differences, size of fridge, cabin card wallet holders etc, but the overall quality of the cabin was similar, however, the Princess grill cabin did feel special.

Location is another subjective benefit, the balcony cabin was located at the front, and in choppy seas cabin 4007 was awful, in terms of feeling the ships movement and engine noise when maneuvering in port on early arrivals. We request move which was facillitated with minimal fuss to 6037. The Grills cabin was located midships 6094 and at times it was difficult to perceive movement, however the weather was generally calm.
