We had talked about a Mississippi River cruise for years, and finally decided to do it. The cruise lived up to our expectations and then some!
The pre-cruise process was a little confusing and disorganized, but we appreciated the Covid testing, knowing everyone onboard had tested negative. The Peabody may be a grand old hotel, but the rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. We were happy to be bused to the boat, and find our commodious, well-appointed stateroom, and our luggage waiting for us there. Housekeeping was excellent, and Constance asked every day if there was anything she could do for us.
Throughout the cruise, the dinners were delicious, with a wide variety of choices every night. Lunches were quick and easy in the River Grill, with a nice selection of sandwiches, salads and hot items, as well. I never ate breakfast, so I can't speak to that. The staff at all meals were friendly, cheerful, eager to meet your wants.

Bigger and more comfortable than many hotel rooms. Plenty of closet space. Nice to be able to put luggage under bed. Nice sized bathroom, with lots of shelf space. Big shower with several shelves.
