Sail Date: Mar 2022

This is my 12 th cruise and last for a long time, masks everywhere and karaoke as well singing with your back to the audience with a mask spoilt the cruise, the southampton embarkation was a shambles, we were expecting to sail the ship ourselves as we did everything else except inspect our printed evidence of covid jabs, 10 minutes i argued that my booster evidence proved i was jabbed 3 times, it took a senior to step in and correct her, the entertainment was average, a great liverpool comic and a few good singers that were lost in the main dome due to echo ,you could not hear the voices properly because of it, the food was ok and just enough choice, any complaint was ,,oh its because of covid,, well it should not have sailed and the drinks package of a grand for 2 was a rip off, a shot of baileys barley covered a table spoon, so 15 a day is your limit and would cover less than quarter of a bottle. For lots of the time Background music while sunbathing consisted of popular songs sang by somebody else not the main artist , ship was just over half full and service not great so god knows what its like when full, the layout of the ship was confusing and toilets out of order in various places, but you live and learn and on holiday with masks everywhere has killed cruises for us all( a party of 6).i never tend to complain but this has to be said to warn people of what to expect.
