This was my 15th cruise on various cruise lines (Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Holland America). We were a group of 12 family members of all ages (13-65) and we had a great time.

Embarkation –The embarkation was chaotic because the ship had arrived in Tampa late due to tornado weather and so our allotted times to embark all got pushed and everyone was getting on at the same time. First time cruisers were a little frustrated but we said it’s not normal to take 2 hours to embark!

Food – the food was very good everywhere. We went to La Cucina the first sea day and we all loved it. I had Veal Scallopini and it was declicous. We also went to Cagney’s Steakhouse and the steak was excellent. We ate in the dining room one night and the buffet the rest of the nights. The food in the Garden Café for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Balcony cabin was very well appointed. Enough room for the 3 of us.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Nice shopping area and pool to sit and swim if you buy drinks.

Harvest Caye

Beautifully designed resort area with free beach and pool chairs, ziplining, restaurants, etc. but outrageously expensive! Paid $15 for a coconut and rum drink in a coconut which was $3 on other islands!

Roatan

Our favourite port. Some went diving and touring the island and we went to the Daniel Johnson Monkey and Sloth sanctuary. Played with the monkeys and held Patricia the sloth :) Highlight of the cruise!
